New Proofs In!

Hello Everyone, today we finally got the proofs in! The first set of proofs have been held up at UPS since April 17th with no reason given. I have opened a claim but we still have no word. Luckily our contact at the printing company saved one copy each of the softcover and hardcover in her office and mailed them out a few days ago.

Upon opening the package Meghan noticed that the spine doesn’t have anything on it. So our next step is to make sure we have something for that space. Whenever you are working on a new project little oversights like this appear all the time. But Meghan is already on it and it will be corrected soon.

The big debates currently are whether we go glossy or matte, and hardcover vs softcover. We are asking lots of friends and family and are getting some feedback. It’s always amazing how split down the middle people are on things like this. Some people prefer the sheen and look of glossy and others are die hard matte people. But overall it looks like people are preferring the hardcover.

Either way, we are making progress. If all goes well the books should be ordered by next week. Will keep everyone updated as things happen.
