Final Vowl Plushy & Potluck Card Game

Hello Everyone, Meghan has been hard at work and the spine and color corrections are just about done. So everything should be uploaded to the google drive for printing within a day or two. Upon seeing the final book proofs on the screen we will be giving our okay to print 5000 copies. So no pressure.

We decided on a matte finish and hardcover for the book. The softcovers looked good but the hardcovers just felt better. Meghan is also hoping to create some stickers that we can print through the same company and include with the kickstarter.

The plushie prototype is being reworked right now. They are a bit more expensive as we decided to go with the textured material, but we thought it would make for a more memorable plushie. We are really excited to see what the next iteration of it looks like.

The card game potluck is also almost done as well. Heraz is working on the tuck box currently and then it is officially done. The company printing our books can also do the card game and that is a huge help for us as it saves us a lot on shipping costs. It also makes me feel more comfortable ordering in bulk as I know the quality will be good. I have been beta testing it here and it is a lot of fun and appears to be well balanced.

Danaya has been hard at work and has made a really beautiful score sheet for the game. She is currently working on the instructions and they are looking amazing. The last step is to have her friend program a User Interface so people can keep track of the score on our website. I think this fall Potluck will get its own Kickstarter campaign in the future.

Once everything is paid for and being readied for print we will finalize the kickstarter tiers for Vowl the Owl as we will have a more official time line at the point. And then we will start reaching out to teachers and upping our social media presence. But that is still a few weeks off I think.
